details you need to know
The Registrar will ask you these details about the deceased:
- Forename(s) and surname
- Date + place of death (address)
- Date + place of birth
- Marital status
- Maiden name (if applicable)
- Forename(s), surname + occupation of partner
- Details of the deceased’s GP
- Pension details (exc. state pension)
- Details of their parents (if known)
Once you register the death, the registrar will give you some important documents.
